The Hill was created by inspiration, hard work, dedication, and many dreams — long ago.
Long before there was a local high school, students from our mountain communities were bussed to schools many miles away. When classmates asked where they came from, the answer was always simple:
"We're from The Hill."
Today, that name represents not only our communities, but also the hard work, determination, and dreams of those who built this place before us. We proudly honor those originals while creating new opportunities for future generations.
